By using the tringMUSIC website or service (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
tringMUSIC analyzes uploaded MIDI performances and returns a scored report and practice guidance. The Service is a tool that measures and reports. It supports a teacher and a practice habit; it does not replace either. Reports are informational and are not a certification or qualification.
Accounts are for adults aged 18 or older: parents or guardians, teachers, and school administrators. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for the student profiles you create, including providing any consent required for a child's data. Sign-in is via a third-party single sign-on provider; keep your provider account secure.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any file you submit. Do not upload files containing third-party copyrighted recordings. MIDI performance data from your own or your student's playing is fine. You retain ownership of your uploads. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service to you.
Some features require a paid plan. Prices, inclusions, and any free tier are described on the site and may change with notice. Payments are handled by our payment processor. Taxes may apply based on your location.
The Service, including its software, engine, reports format, branding, and content, is owned by tringMUSIC and protected by applicable law. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Measurements are computed from the MIDI you provide and do not assess anything outside that data, such as acoustic tone or physical technique. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, tringMUSIC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these terms and will post the revised version with a new date. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
